This week Ranger Boats invited a few select media people to test drive their new models of boats for 2009. The new models demo'd were the Z522, Z520, 208 VX, Reata 211VX, and a 1850 RS. Many of the boats were equipped with the new Evinrude 100th Anniversary ETEC HO motors.
Craig Nyhus of the Lone-Star Outdoor News said "Ranger continues to build the best in boats. Its amazing to see the performance and stability of these new boats. It still boggles my mind that bass anglers want to go 70+ miles an hour but at 40-50 mph they still cruise great."
Press will also be taking tours of the new Ranger plant additions and meeting with Forrest and Nina Wood today.
