Veteran Elite Series Pro Mike McClelland knows all the tricks of the trade. He knows how to catch bass and win tournaments and he also knows how to protect his gear. He is a big believer in Hefty One Zip Sportsman's Series. "The uses are endless for outdoors people. I use the 2 1/2 gallon bags for plastics. I use the gallon size for extra baits and the smaller quart size for baits I will use in a tournament day" said McClelland. I use the 11 gallon bags (comes with handles) to keep my rainsuit, life jackets, and spare clothes that I want to keep dry. You can even weigh fish in them if you wish."
"This is more than just a sponsorship deal for me" said McClelland. "As an outdoorsman and a professional angler these bags are exactly what we have used for years, only better. They are freezer quality bags, come in the right sizes and zip very easily."
We spent some time with Mike recently at Lake Norfolk and Stratos Boats in Arkansas and helped him move gear from his old boat to his new one. Even though he had enough tackle for 4 anglers in his old boat it was easily moved from one boat to another due to the way he was utilizing the Hefty One Zip bags. Each of his different types of tackle were organized in those bags so he was able to move them to the right compartment in his new boat quickly. Loose baits got tossed into quart bags to be sorted when he got home."
"Everytime we leave a tournament Jeff Kriet hits me up for a Hefty Big Bag for his dirty laundry" said McClelland. "It used to be that I used whatever my wife got at the store, but not anymore. Hefty One Zip Sportsman bags are my choice now."
Hunters, as well as anglers, will love these bags. They are tough, yet pliable and hold up well to the abuse of game, fish and everything we take with us outdoors. We pilfered a few of the bags from Mike in Arkansas and use them all over the Wired2Fish Man Cave.
McClelland will be running the Hefty One Zip wrap this year on the Elite Series. If you see him, stop him, and let him show you how he using this great storage system.
These will be available very soon at local outdoor retailers.
