Pro angler Chad Brauer has a cool idea for a new tournament format. How about a 7 day tournament with no practice?

"Today's events are 3 days practice and 4 tournament days if you make the final cut. How about just starting the event with no practice and fishing for 7 days in the event? The guys that can find them will and you have to be very versatile and flexible with this type of format. Most pros I know really don't like practice but love the tournaments" noted Brauer. 

"I know not everyone would like this type of format but I truly believe the cream would rise to the top with this type of format" said Brauer.

Mark Rose likes it too. "If I am going to fish and spend the time there I would just as soon it be in competition. I work just as hard practicing for the tournament as I do in the competition. I like the idea" says Rose.
