World Fishing Network (WFN) will begin airing of the PAA Corporate Cup Event presented by Optima Batteries, which was held in Florence, Alabama on Pickwick Lake in October. The Corporate Cup was a unique format tournament for top-level touring anglers. This event placed the pro’s in a team format and pairs the pro teams with amateur partners. Two pro’s and their respective amateurs work together as a team to gather the biggest weight of the tournament. Amateurs include some of the areas accomplished business leaders and fishing industry supporters, as well as a few celebrities that traveled to Pickwick in order to take part in the event.

This new format displays new excitement in competitive fishing. PAA President, Tim Horton says, “I’m looking forward to seeing the footage of the Corporate Cup presented by Optima Batteries. There were some great anglers in the finals and there were a lot of fish caught.  I’m anxious to see the techniques they used”.
