The people behind Lazer TroKar know engineering and design. They know what materials work best and they know how to build a team. With anglers like Skeet Reese, Gerald Swindle, Shaw Grigsby and Brent Chapman they have perennial winners who know the little things that make a difference. They also know how build the best hooks and they know how to listen too!
This year at ICAST the buzz around this new technology was amazing. We stood 3 deep in people wanting to get a glance of this surgical precision instrument that anglers had been talking about for only a few days. Three sided hook points that are akin to a surgeons needle but tough as iron had anglers and buyers running for a spot in the booth. TroKar announced several models but also discussed that more were in the works and constant re-engineering would be done to keep them at the top of their game.
They were true to their word and just announced a new redesigned and re-engineered barb/point on their TK130 Flippin Hook. Not only does it penetrate better but the holding power is awesome too. This new hook is built to penetrate and to last. Also, we like the low profile barb on the inner bend of the hook both on the hook point and the shank plus a special plastic keeper below the line tie keeps both fish and baits in place.
The TK130 comes in a 4/0, 5/0 and 6/0 size and comes in black chrome.
