Man do we love this time of year. Birds are chirping, the fish are bitin' and new products start to show up just in time for ICAST. We can't get enough new products and it seems every year they get better and better. This years tackle extravaganza in Orlando Florida has us chomping at the bit. We can hardly wait to see what the next rock sinker or fish bagging system will show up!
Seriously, much like golf technology has entered the fishing market in a big way. Rods and reels are lighter yet durable, plastic baits have better designs and are made from space age products and line is thinner, stronger and more castable than ever betore.
Rapala recently gave us a sneak peek at their new products for 2010 and all we can tell you is HOLD ON! These are some sweet designs and again the baits look more lifelike and the line.........well lets just say innovation is at the forefront.
Sufix line has two new offerings that off the charts. One is a new braid called Sufix Stretch Braid a new braided line with 6% stretch. Tough like braid and throws like mono this new line looks to be leading the wave a new composite line introductions for 2010.
The other is another new braided offering called Sufix Performance FUSE. Unique bonding, higher weave count and smaller diameter means anglers can fish braid in places that might have been reserved for mono or fluoro. Fuse is a zero stretch offering and is made of 100% Dyneema fiber.
We will be introducing the new MaxRap, Flat Rap, the DT Thug, Trolls To Shad and Minnow, a new size Clackin Rap, an X-Rap SubWalk, X-Rap Walk, the Skitter Walk, the Glidin Rap, a few new DT's, a new series of X-Rap, new Terminator Swim Jigs, and a few real cool new Storm baits including the Kickin Stick and the Kickin Shad.
Get ready the pre-ICAST party is about to begin and we LOVE it!
