More than Raging...

While football jigs, swimbaits and crankbaits may have been all the rage in last week's Elite Series tournament at Kentucky Lake, don't let the reports fool you -- we wouldn't be surprised if every competitor in the field had a 10- or 12-inch worm on the deck the entire tournament.
Our friends at Strike King have taken the plastics world by storm over the past couple of years with their Rage series of baits, which includes the giant Anaconda worm. But they seem to have realized that occasionally the bass don't want that monstrous swimming tail. so for times when a slightly more subtle (but still big) worm is needed, they've developed this new bait, shown here by Texas pro Brian Clark.
They wouldn't tell us what they're going to call it, but look for it at ICAST, and in the mouths of big bass near you. With young guns like Brian Clark and James Niggemeyer, along with grizzled old vets like Brauer, Grigsby and some dude named VanDam, this one's sure to put a few fish in the livewells.
