Triton Boats is announced as the "Official Boat of NSSP"
The National Scholastic Sportsman Program (NSSP) announces a partnership with the Triton Boat Company.
Based in Ashland City, Tennessee, Triton Boats, a member of Brunswick Corporation, manufactures up to 8,000 fiberglass and aluminum fishing boats a year, the most of any manufacturer under one brand, according to the company's Founder and President Earl Bentz.
As a partner of the NSSP, Triton boats will be featured throughout all of the NSSP's media outlets and marketing materials. Outlets include: NSSP Outdoors TV, NSSP Outdoors magazine, the NSSP Outdoors website, select monthly DVD lessons being sent out to the schools. In addition to this, Triton was named the Official Boat of NSSP and a presenting sponsor of the annual fishing event and the annual National Awards Banquet.
"We think the NSSP is not only a great program, but it is also a much needed outlet within the outdoor industry. We are excited to be involved in a program that can directly impact the youth and help insure the future of our outdoor heritage. We look forward to being involved in the growth of this program." The NSSP, Inc. is created as a 501C6 corporation to educate complete outdoor enthusiast in middle and high schools through the strengthening of character, leadership skills, respect for life and the promotion of conservation in our beloved woods and waterways. The National Headquarters is located in Paducah, Kentucky.
Through NSSP instructional DVDs, materials and activities the club encourages the sportsman of tomorrow in essential knowledge to preserve outdoor heritage and make a difference in the lives of individual students. In only its second full year, the club currently has members and schools in 38 states and reaches approximately 10,000 students through its program.
