Let’s Go Aero Introduces the New Gearlodge Camper
Turns GearWagon 125 Sport Performance Trailer into a Camper
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Let’s Go Aero (LGA) – manufacturer of innovative Gear Management Solutions™ – now offers the GearLodge™, a new tent accessory package that turns the company’s GearWagon™ 125 Sport Performance Trailer® into the ultimate micro-camper.
The GearLodge package consists of an expanded tent enclosure, Decking, Leveler Kit, and SolarVent™. The GearLodge tent features a two-part design comprising the main body and a vestibule. The vestibule expands the traveler’s living and storage space, providing an enclosed entry way over the trailer’s endgate for more gear, family pets or just sitting comfortably. GearLodge allows the GearWagon 125 to comfortably sleep two campers and features integrated air vent/netted windows and doors to maintain a cool interior.
The Decking feature further expands the GearWagon’s functionality by increasing the sleep capacity to four people and/or providing an added level for extra storage. The Decking option works by positioning modular, four-panel decking along the width of the trailer using the base’s integrated ledge. When not in use, the panels store along the sidewalls of the trailer.
The Leveler Kit consists of two stabilizer jacks on the rear of the trailer, providing support for sitting on the endgate and standing inside the trailer bed when the trailer is uncoupled from the vehicle’s hitch. The stabilizer jacks are easy to operate, are height adjustable, and nest snugly underneath the trailer when not in use.
The SolarVent feature removes condensation to prevent accumulation during the night. The solar powered ventilator moves 1,000 cubic-feet per hour, and will run for up to 48 hours without sunlight. It also prevents mold and mildew from occurring that is particular to humid environments.
“For families and couples that enjoy weekend excursions, the GearLodge makes camping easy by providing a cost-effective alternative to pop-up campers,” said Marty Williams, president, LGA. “It is the perfect add-on product to boost the utility of our GearWagon 125 trailer, which already offers storage, transportation and organizational value to travelers. The GearWagon 125 fits a queen-size air mattress and, when coupled with the GearLodge, creates an ideal camper. Plus, unlike pop-up campers, the GearLodge conveniently sets up in just minutes!”
GearWagon 125 is a fully-enclosed and lightweight trailer with a convenient tonneau lid opening design to keep cargo dry, secure and out-of-sight. The trailer’s 125 cubic-feet of cargo carrying capacity with load bearing and removable endgate allows transport of ATVs and motorcycles in addition to up to six bicycles, camping equipment and other types of gear.
“The critical attributes that make GearWagon 125 great are its combination of lightness (480 lbs.), capacity (125 cubic-feet), transformability and toughness,” said Marty Williams, president LGA. “GearWagon 125, as the modern version of a pickup bed, can do everything a Toyota Tacoma or Chevrolet S-10 pickup bed can do…and much more! For instance, it can carry an ATV or an ATV can pull it. Then, with the ATV removed, GearWagon 125 becomes a bed for comfortably sleeping two. Add the GearLodge package and you have a pickup bed trailer/toy hauler/camper. The range of function and value is exceptional.”
As an enclosed trailer, GearWagon 125 measures 92-inches in length by 60-inches wide by 51-inches high. Its twin-wall, rotationally molded, polyethylene base is extremely durable and easily withstands constant use and abuse with all manner of cargo. The trailer is equipped with brawny 13-inch wheels and tires and a torsion axle that provides superior shock absorption and independent wheel suspension for soft, dampened ride.
Integrated inside GearWagon 125 is LGA’s patented Hardpoint™ C-channel track, which is located all along the floor’s perimeter. The Hardpoint track is a flexible channel system offering limitless options for securing gear management hardware – including cargo tie-downs, bicycle mounts and spare tire carriers – inside the trailer.
GearWagon 125's Hardpoint system accepts Nissan Titan and Frontier Utili-track Bed Channel System™ accessories for commonality with automotive OEM pickup bed accessories. GearWagon 125 is available in a light grey base and high gloss white tonneau lid. The ABS lid has an attractive graphics package, and is paintable (GearWagon base is not paintable).
GearWagon 125 is one of two GearWagon models available from Let’s Go Aero. The second is the GearWagon Pickup (PUP), an open pickup bed with load bearing and removable end gate. The company’s first generation of GearWagon trailers, the GearWagon SPT™ and GearWagon AT™ both feature 86 cubic-inches of cargo carrying capacity.
