Lock-n-Haul ® standard on Skeeter Boats....
Innovative new style transom saver to ship with new boats in 2010
It is common knowledge that Skeeter Boats which was established in 1948 was the original bass
boat builder. Today Skeeter is owned by the Yamaha Corporation, and is still built in Kilgore, Texas while remaining one
of the best boats available anywhere, period.
“It is our great pleasure to announce that Skeeter will be shipping the innovative Lock-n-Haul® advanced transom saver
with their new boats in 2010”, says Jim Smith, owner of Lock-n-Haul®.
“We are always looking for new and innovative accessories here at Skeeter, and we always want to upgrade our product
with user friendly features whenever possible. When the Skeeter engineers told me the new Lock-n-Haul® transom saver
was a good deal, I was definitely on board with that”, says Ben Jarrett, National Sales and Marketing Manager of Skeeter
Products, Inc.
Skeeter recently backed up their innovation policy by introducing the new FX boat series
which has been specifically designed to take advantage of Yamahas’ new “Game-Changer”
4-stroke V MAX ® SHO™ outboard motor, which is faster and lighter than 2-stroke motors of
the same size, while complying with the latest and strictest EPA guidelines to date for
emissions control.
The Lock-n-Haul® advanced transom saver is the perfect new-tech complement accessory
for the new year at Skeeter, and we are very pleased that they have chosen us and see our
device as an upgrade to their already impressive product line of fresh and salt-water
boats”, says Smith.
The patent pending Lock-n-Haul® advanced transom saver, will work on literally any boat,
and will adjust to fit most outboard motor brands, models and sizes. It is the only universal
device available that will completely stabilize the outboard motor in travel position, while
effectively making the motor act like it is one piece with the boat that it is attached to. The innovative four-point inline load
design premises that the absence of movement from the outboard motor minimizes the effects of kinetic energy, inertia
and gravity impact on the boats rigging and transom.
“We are very happy that Skeeter recognizes the benefits of the Lock-n-Haul®
advanced transom saver, and has made it their choice for inclusion with their
new boat sales in 2010”, says Smith, who is also the inventor and manufacturer
of the device.
The Lock-n-Haul® advanced transom saver is in wide use over the entire North
American continent including Canada and Mexico. The Weatherford, Texas
based company has enjoyed great success in 2009, and expects continued
growth in the coming years.
