Today on Weighing In Radio with Terry Brown, Hall of Fame pitcher Phil Niekro talks about his Fins and Skins Celebrity golf and fishing tournament for Operation One Voice. Operation One Voice is a program designed by police officers, firefighters and community leaders to raise funds to help support the immediate needs of children and families of wounded and fallen Special Operations Forces. Special Operation Forces consist of US Army Special Operations Command (USASCOC), Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), Air Force Special Oplick herations Command (AFSCOC), Marine Force Special Operations Command (MARSOC), and Joint Special Operation Command (JSOC).
The Fins and Skins event will run in conjunction with the PAA lid lifter at Lake Lanier in Georgia and fan's have a chance to fish and play golf with the likes of Phil Niekro, Ozzie Smith, Steve Barkowski, Ron Reed and a host of other celebrities in a two day fun filled event April 1 and April 2 on Lanier. PAA anglers will be serving as guides for the fishing part of this event.
