The 2008 Texas Oklahoma Shootout is in the books but one thing that will have lasting value to the pro's who fished the event was knowing about Lake Fork's 2009 line-up of baits, in particular the Hyper Freak and the Hyper Worm.
FLW pro Mark Pack took two different partners and put the Hyper Worm and the Hyper Freak to the test and came out with an "A" in baits. The first two days of the event Pack fished with BASS AOY runner-up Todd Faircloth and flipped The Hyper Freak on brushy points. The last day Pack teamed with Texas pro Wade Middleton and they Carolina rigged the Hyper Worm to bring in 32.41 lbs, the largest sack of the event.

"The Hyper Freak and the Hyper Worm have a specially designed flat tail and jointed sides and the vibration is awesome" noted Pack. "The water was a bit stained and I felt having the vibration was critical to catching Falcon bass this week."
Remember, Pack won the FLW Open this year fishing picnic tables and BBQ grills with both baits too.
