U.S. Angler’s Choice, the largest team tournament organization in the country is pleased to announce the addition of Bill Hutcheson to their tournament staff. “Hutch,” as he is known in the outdoor community, will be heading up the day to day operations of U.S Angler’s Choice Tournament Trails, overseeing the Pro-Am, Pro-Teams, and the Western Rookie League events as a part of his many functions in this newly created position.

We have an outstanding group of tournament directors and I am looking to build upon this existing structure to provide quality events throughout all regions of the country”.

“Hutch and I talked over several meetings in the process of discussing our partnership, and it became clear that his skills and experience presented our organization a unique opportunity,” Mendez continued. “We have plans for a major Open event in Northern California, and Hutch certainly can help organize that, along with provide an increased focus on the day to day operations of U.S. Angler’s Choice. His addition, along with the hiring of three WON BASS team directors this fall, and the team we already had in place; give us one of the most talented teams in the business.”
A marketing and economics graduate of Cal State Fullerton in 1987; Hutcheson brings 30 years experience in the outdoor industry to the table. Involved in fishing tournaments since 1993, Hutch is a former WON BASS tournament director who has also conducted numerous grass roots type fresh and saltwater events. Look for future announcements on tournaments for species other than bass to be held under Hutcheson’s direction in 2010.
