It starts with his eyes. Greg Hackney has piercing pupils that betray his emotions. Think back to his Elite Series win on Sam Rayburn in 2006 and it was the eyes that told the story first, busting out of his head, apparently operating independently of the rest of him and of each other. His mouth said “King Kong ain’t got nothin’ on me,” but his eyes breathed fire and conveyed the message that he had arrived as a dominant force.
