The FLW Series event begins today on Clarks Hill Reservoir. Craig Johnson, a local pro from Martinez, Georgia, with tons of experience on Clarks Hill says it is very tough. "We are 15 foot low and the water color is very stained. It looks like its turned over in some places. This time of year we usually catch fish deep and some fish will be caught deep but it looks like it could be a shallow water bite. The local advantage is gone as far as I can see. I have had a decent practice but it will be a tough one. I believe it will take some long runs to get it done."
Johnson believes it will take around 45 pounds to win.
Clarks Hill is on the border of Georgia and South Carolina.
