The 2009 Classic Expo has been a smashing success according to attendance figures released today. The Shreveport Convention Center hosted 60,123 patrons on Saturday besting the 2003 New Orleans record of 19,151. Not only was this the largest amount of traffic at an Outdoor Expo but it was also the largest total ever at the Convention Center.
Opening day totals also surpassed previous Classic opening days as well. 2009 opening day total was 16,233 also bettering the 2003 New Orleans event of 12,056.
