Caporuscio Stuns Field for First FLW Series Win

Joseph Caporuscio of Coto De Caza, Calif. prepares his tackle before takeoff of the FLW Series event on Lake Mead. The fishing was extremely tough but Caporuscio managed to catch five quality lake mead bass to win the event while the rest of the top five struggled. This is Caporuscio's first win.

Western powerhouse anglers Brent Ehrler, Tim Klinger and Justin Kerr seemed to be duking it out down to the wire of the FLW Series National Guard Western Division event on Lake Mead this week and it was still up in the air which angler would pull out the victory on the final day. But the unlikely hero Joseph Caporuscio of Coto De Caza, Calif., brought 13 pounds, 11 ounces to the scales the final day, winning easily when the other four anglers in the top five failed to produce double digit weights on the final day.
