BASSMASTER CLASSIC CAST FOR CASH
Berkley Offers Chance at $100,000
Berkley, America’s leading fishing tackle brand, will give one lucky participant at the Bassmaster Classic in Shreveport, La., the chance to win $100,000 by simply casting into a target. During the final weigh-in on February 22, one individual in the arena will be randomly drawn from the crowd and allowed to cast to a target on the arena floor.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone who is drawn to cash an easy check,” said John Bartow, Berkley Senior Director, Marketing. “Everyone at the final weigh in has an equal chance to “Cast for Cash” and hopefully walk out of the arena $100,000 richer. Berkley is proud to give this opportunity to the Bassmaster Classic weigh in audience.”
The participant will be given his/her choice of a Berkley/Abu Garcia Spincast, Spinning or Baitcast rod/reel combination spooled with Berkley Trilene fishing line. The individual will be allowed a 15-minute practice session to become better acquainted with the tackle. A Berkley Pro Team member will be on hand to provide one-on-one assistance and casting tips, ensuring they have the best chance to win the $100,000 prize.
Berkley is an official sponsor of the Bassmaster Classic and will have a large booth with interactive demonstrations, bass tank with pro angler seminars and sales promotions.
