Here's what one attendee said about the recent Bass University classes in Nashville:
I live for bass fishing. I subscribe to several different fishing magazines and read them all the time. Each time I thumbed through one of my BASSIN’ magazines, I stopped at the advertisement for the Bass University.
I looked into these classes online, and on January 23rd and 24th, I finally attended one in Nashville, Tenn. I must say that this program was well worth it. I only paid $175 for this two-day class, and I would have paid two or even three times that much for everything that I took from the Bass University.
Anyone out there who is trying to further themselves in this sport should attend. These classes are taught by a lineup of well-known professional anglers who are happy to answer any questions you ask, and they do not keep secrets.
Gerald Swindle was actually one of the funniest guys I have ever met. I learned a lot from his classes, even though I felt like I was watching stand-up comedy. Dave Wolak shared tons of useful techniques, and even though it is still winter here in Michigan, I cannot wait to use what I learned when spring comes.
Between classes, you are free to walk around and mingle with any of the pros as well as your fellow classmates. I actually ate lunch with Randy Howell, Mike Iaconelli, John Crews, and Pete Gluszek. I recommend The Bass University to any bass fisherman out there who wants to take it to the next level. Whether you fish for fun or competitively, you will benefit from The Bass University.
