Bruce Bachlor of Cincinnati, Ohio does a great job with his Night Before Christmas Wired2Fish wish.....This is one for the archives! Great job Bruce.
Twas the day before Christmas, and all through the house,
you could hear me yelling while clicking my mouse.
I had nothing but bass fishing stuck in my head,
and it seems that Wired2fish's servers were dead.
When out on the lawn there arose such a crash,
I thought that my neighbors were taking out trash.
I went to the window and looked through the glass,
In time to see the mailman fall on his a**.
I went through the door and offered to help,
but slipped on the ice and let out a yelp.
We smiled at each other in shared agony,
and I asked him if he had a package for me.
Both of us struggled to get to our feet,
we both slipped again, and our foreheads did meet.
I cursed the foul weather, and apologized,
but the mailmans next actions made my spirits rise.
He reached into his bag and pulled out my mail,
And seeing it nearly made my heart fail.
Nestled within his thickly gloved hands,
was a present that met all my fishing demands.
The return address simply said "Wired2Fish",
and I knew it contained everything that I could wish.
I opened it up, and a smile crossed my face,
and I gazed at the snow all over the place.
With my heart full of joy, I could say just one thing,
"I wish Christmas was over- I can't wait until Spring!"
