Bass pundits and those that might have the inside track, fans, anglers and media, feel that Greg Hackney is a sure pick to win this years Classic. These prognosticators have good reason. Hackney is a river rat, knows the Red River and early spring fishing supports his methodical approach. Several others that will finish high are Kevin VanDam, Scott Rook, Davy Hite, Mike Iaconelli and Mark Davis.
