AutoTrader.com, Online & On Board as TTBC Sponsor
Lake Conroe, Texas – AutoTrader.com, the ultimate automotive marketplace, is partnering with the Toyota Texas Bass Classic (TTBC) held at Lake Conroe in Montgomery, Texas. AutoTrader.com will receive recognition as a corporate partner in all TTBC advertising and at the event venue. In addition, AutoTrader.com will offer promotional giveaways for spectators. The TTBC will be held October 16 – 18.
“AutoTrader.com is excited to become a partner of the 2009 Toyota Texas Bass Classic,” said Mark Scarpato, director of sales, national accounts for AutoTrader.com. “This is a great venue for us to increase awareness of the services we offer, and we hope that our initiatives will boost fans’ experience.”
AutoTrader.com will sponsor giveaway bags for the first 2,000 spectators Friday – Sunday and distribute additional promotional prizes onsite.
“We are excited to have AutoTrader.com in the mix. They were a great partner last year and we are both eager to build on our success this year at Lake Conroe,” said Tournament Director Lenny Francoeur. “This partnership works so well because world championship bass fishing, world-class country music concerts and the family friendly Outdoor Adventure Area will attract the perfect demographic for AutoTrader.com.”
For the first year, the TTBC is positioned as the world championship of the Professional Anglers Association (PAA) Tournament Series and the format will be an individual angling competition, making the event a true world championship. The field will be comprised of 60 anglers, all qualified members of the PAA who earn spots based on PAA Tournament Series finishes or other merits.
The Toyota Texas Bass Classic is sanctioned by the Professional Anglers Association with technical assistance and support from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Inland Fisheries Division. Title sponsor for the event is Toyota. Dick’s Sporting Goods is the official sporting goods provider. The Saturday Concert is presented by Evan Williams, the official bourbon of the TTBC. The tournament will be held on Buffalo Springs, a planned development in the City of Montgomery. Corporate partnership opportunities are available for 2009.
